    We started North Yorkshire Mansion House with the mission to provide the best luxury self catered vacation rental experience for our guests.       Yes you can rent the entire estate for your special day. We do not provide a planning service or catering so you would need to arrange this yourself. 

      Yes you can rent out the entire estate for your celebration, but we do not rent out individual units for large gatherings.

      Yes if you are renting the Gardeners cottage this is the only unit where a dog or cat is allowed. 

      Our gardeners cottage is a ground floor accommodation with better access, turning space, and some facilities at more appropriate heights, but due to the historic nature of the property it has sadly not been possible to create a fully DDA compliant building. Please contact us to let us know your specific needs and we will always try to accommodate you. 

      Yes all our accommodation have private hot tubs. 

      All our units have a rental period of seven days, check out by 10am friday, check in after 4pm friday.

      We have a limited number of push chair, high chairs and cots available, please contact us to reserve these for your stay

      Walled garden, tree house, private walkway around the estate, badminton, childrens adventure play area, croquet, walled garden, hot tubs, bike rental with advance notice. 

      All our units are self catering and the kitchens are well stocked with utensils, but you will need to bring your own food, we do have a range of local restaurants in Great Ayton & Stokesley at your disposal. 

      This is a tranquil location and we are respectful to our neighbours, loud music and loud outdoor gatherings are not suitable, late night gatherings outside after  9pm are also not appropriate at this location. 

      You can not bring more guests to stay at the accommodation than the maximum capacity of that unit. All guest details (passport/driving license) are required when confirming booking. 

      There is CCTV covering the estate 24hr hours a day for our own security, and we provide safe storage for valuables in your accommodation. 

      Areas of the estate are a working farm with machinery and animals grazing, these are clearly signposted and we remind visitors not to approach farm animals than can bite, kick or pass on diseases, hand hygiene encouraged. 

      We have a thriving population of great crested newts, a barn owl, and occasional deer that visit the estate, along with pheasants, rabbits and a large bat population.
